NETFLIX
There are plenty of DIY instructions available on the web, but it can be pretty frustrating if you don’t know what to do, so leave it up to us and we will get Netflix up and running for you promtly.
Essentially Netflix is an Internet based Streaming TV service provider, imagine YouTube but with full movies and TV series, please note there is a monthly fee to subscribe to Netflix.
The most important factor is an internet connection, ADSL is the best option as 3G and iBurst can fluctuate. A minimum of a 2 mb line is highly recommended.
FREE-TO-AIR
CHANNELS
When it comes to satellite free to air installation, this is a highly advanced and complicated procedure that the Satellite Saints team has mastered.
You do not have to methodically go through the instructions, rather make yourself a cup of coffee and let the Satellite Saints team do the rest.
In South Africa, most broadcasts are sufficient for a dish size of 90cm. A larger size works for Northern or out of footprint locations. To receive access to both PAS7 & PAS10 channels, a 90cm satellite dish is needed.
SATELLITE INTERNET (VSAT)
Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) VSAT offers internet connectivity and voice, video and IP solutions on a shared bi-directional satellite platform using a star topology network.
Customers are configured on specific pre-determined bandwidths (outbound to the customer for downloads) and inbound (from the customer for uploads).
The product caters for remote home users, small and medium enterprises and large corporations.
The VSAT user equipment comprises a bi-directional satellite dish, a low noise block converter (for receiving data), a block up converter (for transmitting data) and a multi-protocol in-door modem (RCST).
